Located at the base of the Andes, the city of Mendoza is great for wine tasting. When it comes to the wineries of Cafayate, El Esteco is named among the best. Altimus MMXI is their iconic bottle. The wine is a crisp blend of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. All of these are aged separately in French oak barrels. Once blended, the wine is aged again for more than 6 months, leaving it with a toasty, smoky flavor.

3.    Ruca Malen Reserva

Of all the wines of Ruca Malen, Reserva 2014 made to the top of our list. This Malbec wine is aged for around a year in oak barrels to develop the ideal flavor intensity.
